Entrepreneurs are the true artists of the business world. When artists are faced with a blank canvas, they follow a process and not a set of rules. The secret to this process is to treat rules just like any other tool: 

  • use them when its appropriate
  • set them aside when its not
  • discard them when they’re no longer useful

Like artists, successful entrepreneurs instinctively know to do this.
